We are building live, decentralized, play-to-earn chess. Moves are stored in real-time on the blockchain. Chessboard NFTs must be owned to play. Winners are issued tokens that will be used for tournament entry, new NFT generation, and other future functionality. Our team members are long time chess players and are both excited about the potential for GameFi to change how we play games and to introduce crypto to a larger audience. We built on Solana because of its exciting technology that enables live games in a decentralized manner. We are still building out our frontend, so the only way to test the project currently is through unit tests in the github repository.
