Solana increased maximum block capacity by 66% in July as its onchain equity market added new issuer-backed shares and around-the-clock trading. SK Hynix reached Solana on the day of its $26.5 billion Nasdaq offering, while Robinhood, Strategy, Intel shares became available through Sunrise and Backpack Securities.
Payments reached more businesses and consumers. E*TRADE opened spot SOL trading to eligible clients, Ramp introduced stablecoin accounts and payments with support for Solana, and KSNET agreed to integrate Solana Pay across a Korean merchant network with more than 330,000 locations. The Linux Foundation opened the x402 Foundation, with the Solana Foundation joining Visa and Stripe as a premier member. At the World Series of Poker, Solana processed $22.9 million in buy-ins during its first season.

Tokenized Assets and Capital Markets
Public equities added around-the-clock markets
SK Hynix began trading on Nasdaq on July 10 after a $26.5 billion offering, the largest initial U.S. share sale by a foreign company. The company became available on Solana the same day through Sunrise with Backpack Securities, alongside separate products from xStocks and Ondo Finance. The Backpack Securities version is redeemable one for one for the underlying security entitlement.
Sunrise brought additional Backpack Securities-issued equities to Solana during July, including Robinhood (HOOD), Intel (INTC), Strategy (MSTR) and RoboStrategy (BOT). Backpack also opened 24/7 trading for selected U.S. equities.
Ondo Finance activated 24/7 minting and redemption for six tokenized stocks and ETFs on Solana on July 9. The initial set included tokenized versions of SPY, QQQ, Circle, Nvidia, Tesla, and Alphabet. On July 17, Ondo expanded the 24/7 set to 16 assets, adding AMD, Intel, Micron, TSMC, Marvell, SpaceX, SanDisk, Broadcom, SK Hynix, and Arm Holdings. Its Intel product uses Ondo's issuance structure, separate from Backpack's INTC.
Securitize brought issuer-sponsored SECZ to Solana
Securitize began trading on the New York Stock Exchange under the ticker SECZ on July 2 and made tokenized SECZ available on Solana. The tokenized position represents the same common stock that trades on the NYSE rather than a separate share class. Tokenized SECZ is available to eligible investors through Securitize's regulated platform.
The launch made Securitize the first newly public company to bring its own stock onchain from the beginning of its public life.
Funds and credit products broadened the RWA mix
On July 13, SBI Holdings announced plans to create a Japan-originated onchain financial market and support JPYSC distribution, tokenized corporate bonds and funds, cross-border settlement, and institutional onchain services on Solana.
On July 14, SBI Global Asset Management and DigiFT launched JX on Solana, bringing a listed-equity strategy from a Japanese asset manager onchain for the first time. JX gives eligible accredited and institutional investors access to SBI’s Japanese high-dividend equity strategy. Subscriptions accept USDC, with JPYSC support planned after the yen stablecoin becomes available on public blockchain rails.
KAIO brought a tokenized share class of the Mubadala Capital Alternative Solutions Fund to Solana, Base, and Sui. The strategy had approximately $75 million in onchain commitments at launch.
Coinbase Asset Management's USD Stablecoin Yield Fund also went live on Solana through Superstate. The CUSHY share class held $25 million in net asset value on Solana at launch. The private credit strategy is open to eligible qualified purchasers.
Hastra launched AUTO, a token backed by near-prime U.S. auto loans originated by Agora and delivered onchain through Figure Forge. AUTO entered an isolated Kamino market.
By the end of July, Solana reached a record $3.73 billion in real-world asset value and more than 313,000 RWA holders.

Regulated Market Access
Morgan Stanley Investment Management launched the Morgan Stanley Solana Trust, ticker MSOL, on NYSE Arca on July 28. The trust holds SOL and intends to stake a portion of its holdings. It is available through brokerage accounts.

By July 31, U.S.-listed Solana funds had $1.12 billion in cumulative net flows, including seed assets and Grayscale's conversion of a prior product.
E*TRADE from Morgan Stanley opened spot trading for SOL, bitcoin, and ether on July 16. Eligible clients can buy, sell, and hold the assets through a linked zerohash account and view them alongside traditional investments in the E*TRADE interface.
DeFi and Onchain Markets
Jito opened JTX to the public on July 21. The self-custodial trading application launched with spot markets spanning native tokens, major crypto assets, and tokenized equities.
Jupiter introduced Earn on Recurring, which routes idle USDC in active recurring orders into Jupiter Lend until each scheduled purchase executes.
Several lending and yield markets reached new scale during the month:
- Exponent crossed $100 million in total value locked 44 days after its V2 launch
- The OnRe market on Kamino crossed $200 million in total market size
- Sunrise also brought Solstice’s SLX, MORPHO and CASHCAT to Solana during July
Stablecoins and Payments
Ramp introduced stablecoin accounts and international payments with Solana as a supported network for stablecoin deposits. Eligible businesses can hold stablecoins, pay vendors in USDC or USDT from a dollar bank account.
KSNET signed a memorandum of understanding with the Solana Foundation to integrate Solana Pay across a network of more than 330,000 merchants. The Korean payment provider processes more than $4 billion in monthly volume. The agreement also covers testing x402 payments for agent-driven commerce.
At the World Series of Poker, Solana payments reached 6,176 entries and $22,889,450 in total buy-ins.
Agentic Commerce
The Linux Foundation opened the x402 Foundation on July 14. Coinbase contributed the x402 protocol, and the Solana Foundation joined as a founding premier member alongside payment networks, cloud providers, and commerce platforms. 40 member organizations will develop the HTTP payment standard under vendor-neutral governance.
Since its launch on Solana, x402 has processed more than 35 million transactions and $10 million in volume.
Consumer, Mobile, and Collectibles
Solana Mobile launched Seeker Summer, a four-round program running from July 7 through August 30. Sixteen apps receive featured quests in the Solana dApp Store, with on-device badges marking completed activity. Round 1 allocated 25 million SKR to participating users, with claims opening through Seed Vault Wallet on July 17. A Collector Crypt promotion offered the first 5,000 eligible buyers 20% off a Seeker and a $50 pack opening when paying through Solana Pay.
Claynosaurz released animated episodes on Amazon Prime Video on July 14. It extends a Solana-born property into streaming distribution.

DePIN
Helium network data published July 17 covered carrier offload at nearly 2,500 restaurant sites across 34 national brands in the United States. Those sites offloaded more than 274,000 GB of mobile data during one month.
Nosana awarded a grant to Voight for infrastructure that gives production AI agents on Solana observability, identity, deployment, and discovery tools. Voight uses Nosana's distributed GPU network for model execution.
Network and Developer Infrastructure
Solana activated 100M compute-unit blocks on mainnet on July 29. SIMD-0286 raised the block limit from 60M to 100M CUs, while the 12M CU limit for a single writable account remained unchanged.

Mainnet also reached epoch 1,000 during July.
Core teams shipped releases throughout the month. July also recorded new versions of Agave, Firedancer, Frankendancer, Solana Kit, Solana Go, program JavaScript SDKs, LiteSVM, Mollusk, Surfpool, Cloudbreak, and Superbank. Agave merged the final feature flag required for Alpenglow activation work.
The Solana Foundation expanded solana.com/data with near-real-time RPC comparisons across Alchemy, Helius, QuickNode, and Triton One. The dashboard places RPC-provider performance data beside Solana network, stablecoin, and DeFi metrics.
Ecosystem and Events
Magicblock ran Solana Blitz v6 from July 10 through July 12 with Solana Mobile and Blueshift. Forty-one teams submitted mobile apps. CapturGO placed first, followed by Perps Rider and Hunch. Superteam UK announced SpeedBuild London, a 12-hour agentic-finance competition with $20,000 in prizes.
Solana Summit Serbia is scheduled for August 26 and 27 at the Sava Centar in Belgrade.
Breakpoint 2026 is scheduled for November 15 through November 17 at Olympia London. A Solana Hacker House will run in London ahead of the conference with Solana Foundation Developer Relations and Superteam UK.
