Solana OS · WebAssembly
Try the badge in your browser
This is the badge firmware itself: the same launcher, apps and fonts, compiled from the same C sources to WebAssembly and running on an emulated board. Connect to a demo Wi-Fi network, then open My Badge to get a claim code. Like it? Flash the same build onto your badge.
BOOT is on the back of the real badge. It always returns to the launcher.

Bring a beacon to this badge
Characters live on beacons. Screen beacons show a QR code: scan it to play their quests here, with full rewards, for 3 minutes per scan.
Same code as the badge
- The Solana OS core: app manager, status bar, key repeat, toasts
- The launcher and every app, from the same C files as the badge
- LVGL 9.6, the ABC Diatype fonts and the 320×240 RGB565 screen
- Button calibration, and settings saved like the badge’s NVS
- My Badge: registers with the real badge server and shows the claim QR code
Emulated hardware
- Wi-Fi: a fixed list of demo networks. Any password works; you get a fake IP.
- ESP-NOW: a radio shared by this site’s tabs in this browser, so emulated badges meet each other (and the beacon simulator). Real beacons join it when you scan their QR code.
- microSD: a 64 MB card in memory, fresh on every reload.
- Battery: a plausible reading that drains slowly while the page is open.
Wi-Fi, the button map and this emulated badge’s identity are kept in this browser. Erase flash forgets them.
Two badges, one browser
Badge-to-badge features work between tabs: open a second badge (its own identity and settings) next to this one. With Wi-Fi off, both park on the mesh channel and see each other.
- Join a demo network on each badge and claim it with a different account (sign out in between). The console’s cloud prints the claim link.
- Open X Dex on both and swap cards, or Trade to swap !LAMPs, items and pages.
- Swaps and trades upload when a badge turns Wi-Fi on, like on the real badge.
