June brought one of the largest internet capital-markets events to date. On SpaceX's IPO day, Backpack Securities listed tokenized SpaceX shares on Solana via Sunrise, giving eligible investors ownership of the underlying security and the option to transfer their holdings to traditional brokerages. Across the network, Solana's real-world asset (RWA) value crossed $3B for the first time, cumulative tokenized-stock volume passed $10B, and daily tokenized-stock volume reached an all-time high of $683M.
The month extended well beyond capital markets. Mastercard added always-on stablecoin settlement to its global network with Solana among the supported chains, and the World Series of Poker accepted tournament buy-ins in crypto on Solana for the first time in its history.

Tokenized Assets and RWAs
SpaceX shares came onchain through Backpack Securities
Backpack Securities listed tokenized SpaceX shares ($SPCX) on Solana on SpaceX's IPO day via Sunrise. The tokens represent ownership of the underlying security; holders receive cash dividends and corporate actions and can transfer positions to traditional brokerages, while the tokens themselves transfer onchain around the clock. A $13M allocation through Bitget Wallet was fully subscribed in 30 minutes, and 24H volume reached $108M, the highest of any market on Solana that day.

The listing of tokenized SpaceX shares showed what internet capital markets can look like when regulated issuance, onchain liquidity, and global distribution converge on one network.
